Welcome to the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Settings
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of security to your account. It requires you to enter a code sent to your phone or email in addition to your regular login credentials. Disabling 2FA can reduce the security of your account, so please proceed with caution.
Why Disable 2FA?
There are situations where you might need to disable 2FA, such as:
- 🔹 You lost access to your 2FA method (e.g., phone or authentication app).
- 🔹 You are troubleshooting issues related to your 2FA method.
- 🔹 You no longer wish to use 2FA for convenience reasons (not recommended).
How to Disable 2FA
- Step 1: Go to your Login page.
- Step 2: Under the Email section, locate the Forget 2FA.
- Step 3: Click on the Forget 2FA button.
- Step 4: You will be redirected to welcome page click on Proceed to Disable 2FA button.
- Step 5: You will be prompted to enter your email on which OTP will be sent to confirm the action.
- Step 6: After confirmation, your 2FA will be disabled, and you will no longer be required to enter a 2FA code at login.
Important Notes
By disabling 2FA, your account will be less secure. Ensure you take appropriate measures to secure your account (e.g., strong password, monitoring for suspicious activity).
